Our lecturers are guests of the colleagues

          On 28 April, 2017 at al-Farabi KazNU took place the international scientific and practical conference " Relevant Issues of Modern Philology: Theoretical and Applied Aspects" (IX Bagizbayev Readings), dedicated to the memory and 85th anniversary of Academician Maya M. Bagizbayeva.
         All the speakers at the plenary meeting spoke warmly about Maya Mikhailovna. E.D. Suleimenova - President of the Kazakhstan Public Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature, Vice-President of the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature , Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Academy of Sciences of the Higher School of Economics - said that the scientific discoveries and research of M.M. Bagizbayeva constitute an invaluable linguistic heritage for all generations of philologists.
          Reports were made by such famous scientists as A.Zh. Zhaksylykov, S.V. Ananieva, Dean of the Faculty of Philology and World Languages, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Omirkhan Abdimanuly and others. Before the large audience of scientists and students, a bright image of a mentor, teacher and a real teacher by vocation appeared. Daughter of M.M. Bagizbayeva - doctor of philological sciences, professor, Corresponding Member of NAS RK B.U. Dzholdasbekova, brightly remembering her mother, dedicated her the warmest and most piercing words of gratitude.
        The conference continued with a fragment from Bakhyt Gafu`s movie "On the Fracture of the Epochs", dedicated to the dramatic childhood of Maya Mikhailovna and her happy family and scientific destiny. At the end of the forum was held the procedure of rewarding. Among the awardees was Doctor of Philological Sciences , Professor, Head of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of Abai KazNPU S.D. Abisheva, who became the owner of the jubilee medal of al-Farabi KazNU "For the contribution to the development of the university".
