International webinar «Modern methods and techniques for studying Chinese characters» with the participation of a professor from PRC

On April 4, 2022, teachers of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education Almabekova Assel, Meyrkhan Simbat, Raeva Arailim held an international scientific and methodological webinar on «Modern methods and techniques for studying Chinese characters» with the participation of professors of Dongbei University, China Wang Xueji.

The international scientific and methodological webinar was held at a high level, the students who participated in this event received valuable information about the study of the Chinese language with a 5000-year history, about the history of Chinese writing and effective ways of studying hieroglyphs. The guests of the seminar, head of the department Abdrakhmanova K. H., teachers of the department noted the relevance of the topic and expressed their gratitude to the organizers.
