Academic year was successfully completed

On June 28, 2021, the final meeting of the Russian Language and Literature Department of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education took place in the current academic year.

The main issue on the agenda was the annual report, presented by the head of the department, Saule Dzhunusovna Abisheva. The department in all areas of activity - educational, methodological, scientific, international, educational, image, has done a huge work. The teachers of the department are well-known scientists in Kazakhstan and abroad, participants in international scientific projects, authors of monographs and textbooks.

Particular attention is paid at the department of pedagogical practice, which takes place in the mode of dual education. The vocational guidance work of the department includes educational activities carried out jointly with teachers and schoolchildren. The past academic year has enriched the methodological piggy bank of the department with a variety of digital technologies that make it possible to effectively teach students online.

The department has achieved high indicators in the field of academic mobility of students and teachers; several events of international and national scale were organized during the year; students and teachers of the department were awarded diplomas and awards for their multifaceted activities.

The work of the department received a worthy assessment according to the results of the rating prepared by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR): four educational programs of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of Abai KazNPU were recognized as the best in the Republic of Kazakhstan, two more won the second place in the rating.

When discussing the annual report, the teachers unanimously noted the important role of the head of the department in creating a favorable atmosphere for work and creativity of all team members.
