Abai University student became world Champion

From October 6 to 14, 2024, the WKF World Junior and Youth U21 Karate Championship was held in Venice-Jesolo, Italy. During the week, about 2,000 athletes from 200 countries competed in the kata and kumite programs. The honor of the national team was defended by 30 athletes, and our representatives returned to the country with four prizes.

At the championship, 1st year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports" Abai University Alikhan Kadyrgali became the world champion in the 76 kg weight category. This is his second world title.
