Student of Abai KazNPU won the Kazaksha kures Championship of RK

In Kostanay, the championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Kazaksha kures of youth has ended. The main goal of the competition, which took place on April 5-9, 2021, is to form teams for the World and Asian Championships, which will be held in the fall of this year.

More than 300 athletes in 10 weight categories attended the tournament. Azim Ayazhan (44kg), a first year student in Physical Education and Sport at Abai KazNPU, won the national championship and a trip to the upcoming international competition. Azim Ayazhan trains under the guidance of the Honored Coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan, teacher of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports, Yerkin Saidakov.
