Webinar of the Virtual Laboratory «Opportunities for volunteering in the UN and not only!»
On March 16, 2022, the next webinar of the Virtual Laboratory for Inclusive Education was held (organizer and moderator - Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Movkebaeva Z.A.) on the topic: «Volunteer Opportunities in the UN and not only!».
The purpose of the Virtual Laboratory is to present and disseminate advanced theoretical and practical experience in the field of special and inclusive education.
The speakers of this webinar were Nikita Shabaev - Country Coordinator of the UN Volunteers in Kazakhstan (UNV) and Madina Karsakpayeva - National UN Volunteer, Inclusion Specialist - UNDP Kazakhstan (Global Talent Development Program for Young Professionals with Disabilities). The speakers introduced the webinar participants to the UN Volunteer Program in Kazakhstan and revealed the possibilities of this Program for students and university teachers. Of particular interest to the participants were questions related to the possibilities of the Program in inclusive education.
The webinar was attended by students with disabilities from different universities, representatives of regional and district departments of education, administration and teachers of preschool, school, technical and professional educational organizations, higher educational institutions
