On-line webinar «Formation of the competence of social educators in Europe and Central Asia»

On February 19, 2020, the head of the department of preschool education and social pedagogy of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Ulbosyn Kyakbayeva, senior teachers Mirash Kadyrova and Aigul Akhmetova, as well as a researcher at Columbia University Lyudmila Kim conducted an on-line webinar on the topic «Formation of the competence of social educators in Europe and Central Asia».

The purpose of the on-line webinar: implementation of the role of employees in socio-pedagogical work in Kazakhstan, Georgia, Albania, elaboration and discussion of research projects, curricula and methods of preparation of social teachers.

So, Lyudmila Kim spoke in detail about the purpose of the on-line council and analyzed the characteristics of interested parties. Ulbosyn Kyakbayeva, Mirash Kadyrova and Aigul Akhmetova familiarized students studying in the specialty «Social pedagogy and self-knowledge» with achievements in scientific projects, curricula, forms of work in practice, talked about further cooperation with countries in Europe and Asia.

The sides discussed issues of preparation of social teachers in accordance with the requirements of «Stakeholder», it is decided that the data obtained will be used for the preparation of a research project, curriculum development and spread of potential implementations of the methods and content of sustainability.

As a result, it is planned to systematically organize practical and interactive platforms with foreign partners in an online format.
