Seminar for press secretaries of national universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On February 11, 2022 in Nur-Sultan seminar for press-secretaries of national universities of the country, organized by the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. Abai University was presented by Rimma Abdykadyrkyzy, Director of the Public Relations Department.

Askhat Aimagambetov, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held a meeting as part of the seminar. He noted the importance of public relations, ensuring the openness and accessibility of the activities of universities, informing students and staff about the decisions and plans. Head of the Ministry of Education and Science wished success to the press-secretaries and urged to consider the experience of the best specialists in this sphere.

The seminar covered two main topics on communication management and SMM. Moldir Abdualieva, press secretary of the MES, and experienced PR media trainers Akerke Belibay and Araylym Kulmaganbetova made presentations. Topical management and ethical issues, SMM tools, media and public relations, anti-crisis measures of Press-Secretaries, and recommendations on development of university press services and public relations were discussed. Participants also exchanged their opinions and experiences. The meeting was productive.
