Contest «Abai - in the languages of the world»
On November 19-20 2019 at a high level was held a contest of expressive reading «Abai - in the languages of the world» among students of higher educational institutions of Almaty, organized by the International cultural Fund «Alqa Foundation» and the Kazakh national Agrarian University in honor of the 175th anniversary of the great poet Abai Kunanbayev.
The rector of KazNAU, academician Tlektes Esspolov, opened the event.
21 students from 12 Universities of Almaty took part in the qualifying round of the competition.
The President of the international Fund of culture «ALQA Foundation» Alua Tanzharikova, was objective in assessing the candidates for the award of prizes.
The aim of the competition is to agitate the works of the great Abai among young people, to increase the creative potential of young people, to develop oratory, to raise interest by strengthening the place of literature in the modernization of the consciousness of the people. Special attention was paid to the students study of world languages (Russian, English, German, French, Chinese, Arabic and others).
In this competition, the 1st place was awarded to a student of specialty «5B012100-Kazakh language and literature in schools with non-Kazakh language of instruction» Kazakh national pedagogical University named after Abai, Institute of Philology and multilingual education Bakytzhan Nariman. The head of the contest participant is senior lecturer S. Syzdykov. Nariman at a decent level read the verse «Esinde bar ma zhas kunin» in kazakh and english languages. In addition, the 2nd year student of specialty «5B011700 - Kazakh language and literature» Maratkyzy Aigerim took the 3rd place. The head of the contest participant is candidate of philology science G. Yessirkepova. Aigerim read the verse «Olsem ornym qara jer syz bolmai ma?!» in the kazakh and english languages.
For active participation in the competition, the 1st year student of the specialty Kazakh language and literature Kosymbaeva Akerke received an honorary diploma. Head-senior lecturer G.Dyusembina. Akerke read the verse «Olen sozdin patshasy soz sarasy» in the kazakh and turkish languages.
