Poetic evening of Mukagali Makatayev

During the period from February 12 to 19, 2018, students of the 4th year of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education organized an event dedicated to the birthday of the poet Mukagali Makatayev at school-lycee №143 named after S. Arnouly.

Poetry week in the form of the literary contest: «Jazılar estelikter men twralı» with participation of grades 7-9; competition of youth poets «Bolmısım öleñmenen aşıladı» with the participation of 6-9 classes; a competition of expressive reading «Qara öleñ» among grades 5-8 ; dramatic performances competition «Jırlaydı jürek» among grades 8-10 and finished the poetry week with the literary-cognitive evening "Ömir, qımbatsıñ mağan!» were planned together with school staff under the leadership of coordinator A.S. Kali who was responsible for students` academic-methodological work.

The evening was opened with a speech by Zhanat Dauletbekova, the Head of the Department of theory and methodology of the Kazakh language, doctor of pedagogics, professor and Gulsara Bayedilova, school principal. They congratulated the best students in each nomination and warmly thanked the trainees who had held a high-level poetry week. Methodist of the Institute, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Saltanat Aibergenova shared with memories of Mukagali Makatayev, expressed her gratitude to the school staff and interns. The literary-cognitive evening ended with the staging about the poet`s work and taking photographs for memory.
