International conference «Kaynekei Zharmaganbetov`swork and actual problems of the modern literary process»

On November 28, 2018 year an international conference entitled «Kaynekei Zharmaganbetov and Actual Problems of the modern Literary Process» was held, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding writer Kaynekei Zharmaganbetov, organized by the Department of the Kazakh Language and Literature named after academician S. Kirabayevof Philology and Multilingual Education Institute.

At the opening of the conference, the Vice-Rector of Academic Issues, Asan Satmyrzaev, made a speech and wished success to the domestic and foreign scientists who took part in the conference.

The first introductory speech was performed by Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Philology, Professor Serik Kirabaev. Serik Smailovich remembers the life of his teacher with a longing for him, notes his discoveries, especially his skill in writing a ballad.

The director of the Institute, B. Abdigazievich, was present at the plenary session as a moderator. The first report was delivered by a member of Writers` Union, Candidate of Philological Sciences Nagashibai Mukatov on the topic «Secrets of Comprehensive Talent». Professor of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, doctor of philological sciences Temirkhan Tebegenov «Literary process development and poetic peculiarities of poetry by Kaynekei Zharmaganbetov», associate professor of Semey State University named after Shakarim B.Beketov, University named after Berdak of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, doctor of philological sciences K. Orazymbetov «Kaynekei Zharmaganbetov`s work and the problems of Karakalpak-Kazakh literary relations», Republic of Turkey, Mugla Sytky Kochman University, Doctor of Philology, Professor Kenan Koch, «The ballad genre in Kazakh and Turkish literature and Kaynekei Zharmaganbetov» gave the above-mentioned reports, thus causing interest in all conference participants.

During the conference, there were congratulations and kind hearted speeches in memory of Kayneke Zharmaganbetov of his contemporaries and compatriots who directly knew the writer during his lifetime and directly influenced his work.

Akyn M. Rush, a journalist, a veteran, a member of the Writers Union of Kazakhstan S. Aktaev, the main researcher of the research institute of Elemntorganic Chemistry named after A.N. Nesmeyanov Academy of Sciences of Russia, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor O. Aimakovich, Ph.D. in Philology, Professor of the Shymkent Regional Social Innovation University B. Beketov shared their memories and discovered the civilian personality of the prominent writer.

The son of Kaynekei Zharmaganbetov, Nurlan Zharmaganbetov, expressed the final speech. Congratulating the university on its 90th anniversary, he expressed gratitude on behalf of the whole family to the institute staff who were the organizers of the conference, as well as to all the scientists and participants who participated in the conference.

At the end of the conference, the Director of the Institute B. Abdigaziyevich awarded medals specifically issued for the 90th anniversary of the university to: poet Nagashibai Mukatov, doctor of philological sciences at the University of Mugla Sytky Kochman, professor Kenan Koch, principle scientific officer of the research institute of Elementorganic Chemistry named after A.N. Nesmeyanov, Academy of Sciences of Russia, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor O. Aimakovich, Professor of Karakalpak State University named after Berdak, Doctor of Philology K. Orazymbetov, son of Kaynekei Zharmaganbetov, Nurlan and daughter, Alima Zharmaganbetova.

The conference was followed by a lunch session in the sections «Creative heritage of Kaynekei Zharmaganbetov - spiritual treasure of Kazakh literature», «Creative personality and modern literary process», «Actual problems of linguistics and teaching methods». Conference reports were published in the form of a collection. The collection contains about 100 articles. Scientists, students and undergraduates who submitted reports on the results of this section were given certificates for participation in the conference.
