Round table «Development of the state language in the framework of modernization of public consciousness»

On 11 April, 2018, at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, the round table «Development of the state language within the framework of modernization of public consciousness» was organized and conducted by the Chair of the Theory and Methodology of the Kazakh Language dedicated to the 80th anniversary of academician of the International Academy of Informatization Bakytzhan Khasanov. The faculty and pedagogical staff of the Institute and students of the Kazakh State Women`s Pedagogical University attended the round table.

The director of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education Baltabay Abdigaziuly, who congratulated the jubilee, opened the work of the round table. In his speech, the director of the institute noted that Doctor of Philology Bakytzhan Khasanov is a scientist who devoted his whole conscious life to scientific research and pedagogical activity. Problems covered by him in scientific research are related to the most complex section of Kazakh linguistics - social linguistics and are closely related to the issues of life of society and the state. B. Hasanov, considering the issues of the ratio of native and state languages, bi-and poly-linguism, made a great contribution to the development of Kazakhstan`s science. On behalf of the University for Special Merits Academician of the International Academy of Informatization Bakytzhan Khasanov was awarded with the badge «The Best Teacher», and the national chapan was also traditionally presented. In conclusion, Professor Baltabay Abdigaziuly wished the scientist creative successes and new scientific achievements.

The head of the department of theory and methodology of the Kazakh language, assistant professor Zhanat Dauletbekova, who presented the congratulatory folder, made congratulatory speech.

After that, a video was shown about the life and work of Bakytzhan Hasanov.

Professor of Kazakh State Women`s University, doctor of pedagogical sciences Aigul Amatayevna Satbekova noted the contribution made by Bakytzhan Khasanov to the development of philological science in Kazakhstan, in the training of scientific personnel in this field. During the work of the roundtable, other well-known scientists also made speeches and congratulations.
