Abay`s legacy is the essence of spiritual maturity

On April 28, 2020, under the guidance of associate professor of the Department of Kazakh language and literature named after academician S. Kirabayev of the Institute of philology and multilingual education, Rakhmetova Raigul, an informative webinar «Abay`s legacy is the essence of spiritual maturity» was held for first-year undergraduates.

The other members of the department also attended the webinar which was held as a final lesson of the subject «Methodology for the development of renewed knowledge on Kazakh language». Undergraduates Nizhanbayeva Togzhan, Zhasharalina Gulden, Makhambetova Altynai, Rustem Narkes, Rabayeva Akerke, Smadiyarova Elmira, Maruakyzy Tolganai presented scientific research reports on Abai`s philosophy and his thoughts about pedagogy which were discussed and highly valued by doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor F.Orazbaeva; professors Zh.Dauletbekova, K.Kalybaeva; E.Moldasynov, Z.Osmanova and other teachers of the department.

The undergraduate noted the relevance of the works of Abai in the 21st century and voiced their proposals on the further development of the heritage of the great poet and philosopher. During the event, two-way communication between students and teachers was provided. Many valuable thoughts were expressed. Webinar participants also revealed the link between Abay`s legacy and modern, renewed education.
