Anniversary dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev

Professor Fauzia Orazbayeva and head of the Department of Kazakh language and literature named after academician S. Kirabayev of the Institute of Philology and multilingual education of Abai KazNPU Kalbike Esenova were invitedto the grand opening of the anniversary events dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the birth of the great Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayev, Nur-Sultan .

The festive concert «Kazakh people - people of Abai» was held at the state opera and ballet theater «Astana Opera».

President of RK Kasym-Jomart Tokayev and Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev have officially launched festive events that will be held throughout the year in all regions of our country and abroad.

The concert program includes all of Abai`s musical heritage. The works of the poet were performed by people`s artists of the USSR and Kazakhstan, winners of international and national competitions and talented young people.
