Vocational guidance in schools in remote areas

On March 19, 2021, under the guidance of senior teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages Nurekeshova G.R., Satylkhanova G.A., Mamyrbayeva M.Z., Sultankulova Sh.O., a meeting was held on the online platform of career guidance for teachers and graduates of the 11th grade graduates of the school Amangeldy of Kokpekty district of East Kazakhstan region. Noting that today pedagogical specialities are in the focus, and that Abai KazNPU has proven its place and relevance in higher education, including by improving the quality of students and increasing their scholarships, the organisers of the meeting urged school leavers to pay attention to these factors when choosing a speciality.

During the event, teachers of Amangeldy secondary school Zhakasheva G.K., Zheldybayeva N.T., Karimova P.K., Nurkhina B.M., Barbosynova J.M. and 11th-graders expressed their opinions. It was unanimous that such meetings are very important.

In addition, by guidance of the senior teacher Mamyrbayeva M.Z., the 3rd year students of two foreign languages, Kizatova Aydana and Kalibek Ayaulym who holders of DAAD scholarships, made presentations on the advantages of their chosen foreign language specialty and the exchange of knowledge gained within the framework of the academic mobility program.

The meeting was fruitful for all participants.
