Webinar «Al-Farabi`s Mathematical Legacy in Modern Education»

On December 10, 2020, in order to familiarize and implement the results of research on the mathematical heritage of al-Farabi in the content of education, the al- Farabi education center of Abai KazNPU, the international scientific laboratory of problems of Informatization of education and educational technologies, the Department of Informatics and Informatization of education of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics held a webinar «Al-Farabi`s Mathematical Legacy in Modern Education». During the webinar, the following issues were discussed: «al-Farabi`s mathematical heritage in modern education as a scientific project», «al-Farabi`s Trigonomeric heritage», «on the arithmetic and musical competence of students in al-Farabi», «al-Farabi physics research», «from the experience of teaching al-Farabi construction problems in the Nazarbayev Intellectual school as an elective course», «electronic resources on al-Farabi`s mathematical heritage», «Experience in conducting international mega-lessons on the study of al-Farabi`s heritage».

At the end of the webinar, participants shared their thoughts and unanimous opinion on the importance of the topic raised.
