Members of the Department are engaged in writing textbooks and teaching and methodical aids for secondary general Kazakh schools. For example,since 2002 the textbook "Qazaq adebieti" (Kazakh Literature) for pupils of the 10th grade of natural-mathematical direction, prepared in co-authorship with professors B.Abdigaziuly and B.Smanov has reprinted by "Mektep" publishing house. The textbook was revised, updated and reprinted five times until now.

Teaching and methodological manual of professor B.Smanov "Qazaq adebieti" (Kazakh literature) for pupils of the 11th grade of social-humanitarian and natural-mathematical directions has been reprinted four times since 2000 in the publishing house "Mektep". Also, professor B.Smanov published a textbook, scientific-cognitive, educational and methodical works, monographs "Ulttyk tarbie zhane din maselesi" (Problems of National Education and Religion) (2011), "Alpystyng asuyndagy oilar" (Thoughts at the age of sixty) (2012), "Molda Koshyk datqa" (2013), 2-volume work "Malik Gabdullin: adebi muralary" (Malik Gabdullin: literary heritage), (2014, 2015, in co-authorship), "Korkem shygarmany taldau negizderi" (Bases of the analysis of the literary work) (2016), 2-volume work "Arnaly agystar" (The Broad Current) (2017).

The following textbooks and teaching aids of professor T.Tebegenov were published: "New Kazakh literature of the epoch of Independence" (2013), "Traditions of literature and folklore in the works of folk poets" (2015), "The Creativity of Suyunbai Aronuly" (2015), "The Tradition of Abai and Kazakh Literature" (2009), "Literature of Turkic peoples" (2009), "History of literature" (2014), "Teachings of Abai studies" (2013).

The textbooks and teaching aids of the professor T. Zhumzhanova were published: "Kazakh literature" for 9th, 10th, 11th grades (2013), "Teaching methods of literature" (2009), "Effective Ways of Teaching Translated Works" (2005), "Mahmud Kashgari, Zhusip Balasagun" (2015), "Teaching of life and creativity of M.Fragi" (2016), "Organization of extra-curricular activities on mastering literary texts by students" (2011), "Carrying out the pedagogical practice of students on the discipline "Literature" (2009), "Ways of teaching M.Auezov`s life and creativity (2007). At the same time, professor T. Zhumazhanova is one of the authors of the educational programs "Kazakh literature" for 5-7th and 10-11th grades, "Content structure of electronic textbooks on the discipline "Kazakh literature" in Higher Educational Institutions" (2012), methodical manual "Using the aspects of digital education in teaching of materials about the life and work of writers and poets on the subject "Kazakh literature" (2013).

The monographs, literary works and teaching aids of the lecturer of the Department, doctor of philological sciences S. Asylbekuly were published: "Qazaq madenieti - Qazaq memlekettigining zhuregi" (Kazakh Culture is the Heart of the Kazakh Statehood) (2003), "Kazakh novel: Genesis, Evolution, Poetics" (2015), "Stories and novels", 1-volume (2008), "Novels, stories, plays", 2-volume (2018), "Rubiganyng mahabbaty" (Love of Rabiga) (2015).

The teacher of the Department, candidate of philological sciences Marat Bekbosynov published the monograph "Tauekel men batyr oi (adebiet tarihyndagy azattyq tanymdary)", the teaching aid "XIX gasyrdagy qazaq adebieti", the 1st chapter, an additional scientific and pedagogical manual "Shakarim tagylymy", a monograph "Abai dauіrі zhane Mashһur-Zhusіp romantismi", more than 250 literary and scientific reports and articles in various editions and proceedings of International, Republican, Regional Scientific Conferences. He is also the author of several teaching-methodical aids.

Associate professor B.T. Kabatay is the author of the educational and methodical complex on the discipline "Adebiettik oqu" (Literary reading) (for pupils of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th grades) for the new generation since 1998. In 2017 by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the works of B.T. Kabatay were published in "Atamura" publishing house: the textbook "Adebiettik oqu" (Literary Reading) for the 2nd grade on the updated curriculum, methodical manual for teachers, Chrestomathy and the electronic teaching aid were recognized as basic and distributed on the Republic schools.

The monograph "Еrimbet Koldeibekulynyng adebi murasy" (Literary heritage of Yerimbet Koldeibekuly) (2006) and the teaching aid "Zhyraular poeziasy" (Poetry of Zhyrau) (2007) were published by the teacher of the Department, candidate of philological sciences D.Satemirova.

There were published educational and methodological manuals for preparation of scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department teacher, of the candidate of pedagogical sciences R.B. Borash: "Dramaturgialyk sygarmalardy okytu" (Teaching of dramaturgic works) (2009),"Adebi janyr turlerin oqytu" (Teaching of literary genres types) (2018), "Shash sozіngdі olengmen" (Spread your speech by verses) (2018)", "Methodical instructions on the organization of industrial and pedagogical practice" for 3-4th year students on specialty of bachelor`s degree (in co-authorship).
