International Online Conference «Turkestan - Spiritual Capital of the Turkic World»

Turkestan is the capital of the Kazakh Khanate, a city with a deep history. In this city the destiny of our nation was decided and various decisions were made. It was the homeland of many great Kazakh personalities.

On April 16, 2021, an international online conference was held in the Library of Elbasy, entitled «Turkestan - the spiritual capital of the Turkic world». It discussed at the expert level the historical outcome of the informal summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, held on March 31, 2021.

Kazakhstani and foreign statesmen and scientists took part in the conference.

The active youth of our university took part in the international online event and received new and informative information about the city of Turkestan.

The event was organized on the initiative of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy, the Ministry of Culture and Sports and Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation.
