Exhibition of paintings dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Mukagali Makatayev

On the initiative of Tokkozhi Kozhagulov, Director of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports of Abai KazNPU, an art exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the famous poet Mukagali Makatayev was opened at the Kazakh State Academic Theatre for Children and Youth under the theme «We are still young and pure in heart, we are sagas not yet written». The event was held in offline and online formats in compliance with all quarantine requirements.

The exhibition featured paintings based on the autobiography and works of Mukagali Makatayev by such masters of the brush as Temirkhan Ordabekov, an Honored Worker of Culture of Kazakhstan, Professor of Abai KazNPU; Professor Zhumakyn Kayrambayev; Director of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports Tokkozha Kozhagulov; Nurbolat Iskakov, an Honored Worker of Culture of Kazakhstan; and Zhaksylyk Tobazhan, member of the Artists Union of Kazakhstan.

The participants of the opening ceremony shared their impressions and warm wishes to hold such events more often. The exhibition of art paintings is organized at a high level.
