Webinar «Universal values in the work of Abai»

April 27, 2020 EKGU named after S. Amanzholov, the scientific research institute «Abaevdenie» held a republican webinar on the theme «Universal values in the work of Abai», dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev.

The webinar, which was attended by about 50 students from all over the republic, was opened by the academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the rector of the EKSU named after S. Amanzholov Tolegen Mukhtar Adilbekovich.

Then, the director of the «Hakim Abai» Research Center of Abai KazNPU Shoyynbet Zhabal Alshynbekuly spoke with the report «Wisdom of Hakim Abai». The well-known scientist- abaevologist elaborated on the concept of «Tolyk Adam» in the work of the great poet and philosopher.

In turn, the professor of the Kazakh language and literature department of the Institute of Philology and Multilingualism Bekbosynov Marat Nurgazievich supplemented the discussion of the topic with his opinion in the context of the 38th word of edification of Abai.

The next speaker at the webinar was a senior researcher of the Educational and Scientific Center «Abaitanu» of SKSU named after M. Auezov Aliphan Maksat. In his report «Abai on the Absolute Truth», he shared the thoughts of the great geniuses Aristotle, Confucius and al-Farabi and gave interesting information to the participants of the webinar.
